The Roadhouse has never had it so good! The dirty, rotten rave pit has recently seen the likes of Brennan Green, Kenny Larkin, Joshua Iz and Mark E dropping beats on it’s sticky ones and twos.

Coming up this Friday it’s the turn of Cutloose to put up the camo netting and turn the smoke machine to plus 11 as they welcome the legendary Idjut Boys to their monthly soiree.

Here’s what the Cuts had to say.

“Cutloose have been eagerly anticipating May’s party for some time! This month’s guests, the Idjut Boys have acquired legendary status as fine purveyors of dubbed out late night grooves, hypnotic heavy-echoed conga and cascading guitar riffs. The Idjuts’ innovative eclecticism and good time attitude has seen them successfully supersede trends for over a decade, grabbing disco, dub, electro, funk, house, hip hop and rock, then fusing the lot into the kind of groove that leaves dancefloors from London to San Francisco, Oslo to Osaka reeling and their peers speechless.

Much like esteemed cohorts Harvey and Baldelli, the Idjuts’ imprints (Discfunction, U-Star, Noid and Cottage) enjoy cult-status; the Boys have also released productions, compilations and re-edits on respected labels including NRK, Eskimo, Tirk and Bear Funk Records. The Idjuts’ ‘anything goes’ outlook ensure this will be one essential party with a vibrant groove in Manchester’s favourite basement.”
