Lee Morgan

Manchester based Lee Morgan has been dj’ing for over 12 years. Over the last 3 years things have really picked up for Lee (Proof that persistance can pay off!) A chance meeting and the swapping of a mix tape meant Lee landing his first residency at The Vinyl Frontier. Lee continued to Dj there and ultimately ended with him co-promoting the event. The Vinyl Frontier reached a natural end last year and Lee decided to concentrate on Dj’ing again. Wanting to get back to his musical roots along with Tim ‘Secret Soul’ Wright NiteShift was born.

Concentrating on Soulful house music and combining the best in live musicians it has gone from strength to strength. It has seen them take up a residency alongside The Slammin Boys and Bargrooves with guest slots at Soul-Tonic in Leeds alongside Morten Trust and also Manchester’s very own All Back to Ours.

The future looks bright, with the launch of a website imminent and lotsgoing on in the studio ’06 should definetley be a good year for Lee Morgan and the NiteShift crew!
